About
BVD is a web-based database, which contains the genotypes
of grapevine cultivars/accessions from the grapevine collection
maintained at the
Institute of Viticulture and Enology, Pleven, Bulgaria.
Microsatellite profiles of the varieties were obtained at
the
AgroBioInstitute, Sofia, Bulgaria. BVD was developed in frame of
the project
Innovine "Combining innovation in vineyard management and genetic
diversity for a sustainable European viticulture (INNOVINE)"
Funding
BVD was established with the financial support of the
European Union’s Seventh Framework Programme for research,
technological development and demonstration under grant
number 311775, Project Innovine.
